The boys got tired of bunk beds. Their room is really small but I decided to take the beds down for them. The way the room has to go together now is really, really tight and it leaves this small area boxed in with two walls a bed and a dresser. We use it as a place to store stuffed animals and the bean bag, as you can clearly see. :) I go in to kiss the boys each night after they are asleep. It does me good to see them peaceful at least once a day. There are several things about this picture that make me smile.
1. no pillowcases. They won't leave them on, ever.
2. You can't tell but the window is open. Their room gets hot and they like to crack the window at night. When it gets to chilly for them Buddy just props an extra pillow up in front of the screen instead of closing the window. (I close it for them)
3. Their blankets. Even when they are cold they won't use the big blankets. They only want their special ones. They also refuse to use sheets.
4. See that tiny pink bunny next to Kenneth? It was Danni's. He had two bunnies that the kids have confiscated and love. We try to control our tendencies to love and keep every stuffed animal we ever lay our eyes on but it's so hard! :)
